Accurate
measurements are essential for proper fit when installing
drywall. Use full sheets whenever possible and never force
them into position. Start with ceiling first and install the
panels perpendicular to studs followed by one wall. Then work
in either a clockwise or counter clockwise direction. A good
rule of thumb is to cut the drywall panel between 1/8 to 1/4
inch less then the opening. Professional drywall hangers have
a joke about the drywall tape being two inches wide! |
